What happens between artists when we’re staging a new play that’s different than staging a classic? What’s at stake in that profoundly dramaturgical collaboration? Hear about the collaboration of director Les Waters with playwright Naomi Iizuka in staging her play At the Vanishing Point at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville first in 2004 and then again, with revision, in January 2015. Have a chance to role play around a new script and the types of conversations and collaborations that best support it.
